Dormant Ones Arise

The outlaws are coming,

drawing rumbles and quakes.

The walls humming in unison,

tables dancing with aches.

In the distance there’s motion

like a wave of red dust.

Hooves that clatter in rhythm,

masked men, demons in gust.

The town’s people continue

like a peaceful afternoon.

They ignore the closing chaos,

unnoticed approaching monsoon.

A young lady kneels down

placing her palm on the ground.

A thunderous screech in the distance,

the cavalry’s victory inbound.

Destiny

If I knew where I was going I would tell you where to go

All I ever knew was moments and going with the flow

Sleepy hills don’t bother no one, morning wind shows us the way

If I experienced reincarnation I would live my life the same

Carry on you stubborn hero, carry on your righteous path

I know I’ll find you when I’m meant to and we’ll make that moment last
